Kill Reality

Hello everyone. Sorry I have been MIA for awhile. I feel that these blogs have been lacking substance, but gosh darn it I have been busy. All I have for you are photos of my exploits, because frankly, I don't think that anything I have been doing lately is worth talking about.

After this weekend I am going to Worcester, Mass. (pronounced Wooster, or Woooaahstahh if you are from the area) for a week long regatta. It is going to be a marathon of sorts, and I just hope all things go well. It will be nice to finally wrap up the summer season, and have my life back.

I have been going through a funny dry spell ... it could be directly correlated with not spending time with Jake, Bermes and or Laurin, but I am not quite sure. It may also be that I am not very bored, so I haven't really had time to laugh. Isn't that horrible? So for lack of better substance I thought I would share with you the horrible shows I have been watching on TV.

Hell's Kitchen- This show is actually really bad, but I can't pull myself away from it. I did not like or care about any of the contestants. I like the main Chef ... what was his name, Chef Mills Lane or something? I just felt like it was all really fake and set up. However, whoever came up with the little pitchfork in the water thing between commercials is genius. That was the best part of the show.

The Dance Idol Show with British Judges- This show I have to sneak to watch, because Jake can't stand "cheating" on his favorite show Dance 360. He will let it slide though, when the hot host comes on. Everytime he sees her he goes, "Well, helloooooooo. Who is that?" My very favorite dancer was a guy whose full time job was decorating cakes. He said that he loves to make "whimsical" cakes. I thought that was freaking hilarious. I am also very intrigued by the break dancers, but how they are possibly going to do the rumba is a mystery to me. Also, the judges SUCK. Obviously they are having problems making anything in the show memorable ... the name, the host, the judges. I don't even know what day of the week it is on.

Rescue Me- I have just started watching this show, and it is actually pretty good. It is on FX, so it basically means that I am watching an R-rated movie. I can't believe the stuff they get away with on that show. I also feel very knowledgable about everything, because I used to work with the firefighters, and the show is just like real life.

Kill Reality- This show is pretty bad. However, Johnny Fairplay is on it, and I really like him. Bachelor Bob is on it too, but I have yet to see him. It kind of makes me feel sorry for Bachelor Bob. I guess the Bob Guiney Experience didn't sell too many albums. The saddest thing is that they all really think they are acting in a movie. Well, I guess the saddest thing is that I am watching it.

So, that's all of the insight you get today. I am struggling -- my apologies.
