Jake was very upset that he didn't get to go, but I think that he made up for it by having some quality Jake and Ozzie time. When we got home from the concert, we were greeted by Ozzie wearing a Bear's jersey, Jake wearing a Bear's jersey and the "Superbowl Shuffle" playing on TV. Ozzie hobbled over to me in his oversized Urlacher jersey with a pleading look in his eyes, "This guy's crazy," he seemed to be saying, "Get me OUT of here!"
So, after all of that excitement I am back at work and still suffering from my lack of 8 hours of sleep a night. It is a downright shame that I need to have 8 hours of sleep to function. It really limits the amount of fun I can have in any given week.
If anyone is interested, I recommend Robby's Blog. He has a nice essay about Cyborg Awareness. I am thinking of writing an essay about mustaches and their effect on societ
y, or about how blogs are taking over the world. I have been in such a bad mood lately that people are just straight up calling me Debbie. I thought the only thing that would make me feel better is to buy something on QVC. Am I the only one that gets that urge? I just have a strange and powerful desire to call in and order something from QVC. Anything. I don't even care if I can't justify it. I just want to buy. That's it for now.
