The Belvedere Conspiracy

What ever happened to Wesley from "Mr. Belvedere"? This is a question that I certainly believe keeps Jake up at nights. It seems to come up at every single party he goes to. He even said that he would name his band "The Belvedere Conspiracy" if he ever had one. Aside from the catchy theme song, I really do not think much about "Mr. Belvedere." I know that "that guy from 'Major League'" is in it. That's about it.

Whenever Jake asks this rhetorical question, I always try to come up with different answers to appease him. This time I suggested that maybe he is hanging out with Danny Pintauro from "Who's the Boss." There is always that one kid that kind of gets lost in the shuffle on TV shows (I guess in "Mr. Belvedere's" case it was the entire cast).

Then, today, I came across the whereabouts of another lost TV star, Ben Seaver. The least famous Seaver, and least liked as far as I'm concerned (before Kirk Cameron started to get freaky religious.) Everything about this web site is hilarious. I don't know what is funnier --- the fact that it is Chinese, that it is called Milk and Fashion or that they included a photo of Ben Seaver in a stylish blazer from the "Growing Pains" days. I also think that he looks strangely like Bryan Ward. (Ward, I mean that only in the nicest way).

Before everyone that is web savvy bombards the comments section of this blog with Wesley's whereabouts, I just want you to know that I am way ahead of you ... it looks like his last big project was, "Deliverance: The Musical." I am not even kidding. I guess it's like I always say: "It's better to have never been a star, than to be a child star at all." Or something like that.
