We don't know yet, but we will in a couple of hours.
I am actually pretty nervous, like I am before every doctor's appointment. It is kind of scary ... like the time they couldn't find the heartbeat so I had to get an ultrasound. That is scary. But, I am pretty sure that Pinenut is alive and kicking because my stomach is getting larger and I think I feel it kicking all day long. It's a really weird feeling, and sometimes I wonder if it is from the caffeine in my decaf coffee that is making it go ballistic. Poor little baby already being born with a small caffeine addiction.
I promise to tell everyone via the blog what the sex is. I haven't really decided what I really want, and I think I really don't care. I am convinced that it is a boy, because I just think that's what I am destined to have, but Jake is convinced it is a girl. Anyways, I am sure either way it will have plenty of Bears jerseys, Ohio State jerseys, IU jerseys, etc.
So, onto more important things, like what we have been doing over Spring Break 2006. Actually, nothing really. I SO want a vacation. A lot of my friends are in Vegas and they all called me as they were lounging around the pool on their 15th drink of the day. My other good friend, Ellen (Degenerous), is at Universal Studio Resorts in Florida. I wish I was there. But, really, what could I do but eat constantly and take naps. I could do that here.
Jake was right about the highlight of our spring break so far. Mega Jugs, and I don't mean that in a dirty way. Mega Jugs of Diet Pepsi. I was so mad at him for ordering 2 Mega Jugs. They had handles on them like a bucket. Jake told me that if there was something "mega" on the menu he was going to order it. Good to know.
Oh yeah, and I am STILL unemployed if any of you were wondering. The last job I successfully made it to the final 2 (AGAIN) but then was told that I was overqualified. I think that might be the biggest bunch of crap that I have ever heard in my life. If they needed me to dumb it down, I would have no problem doing so. I saw a job opening for a "phone actress" that I thought about applying to. I bet I could do it from home. So far I am successfully being a pregnant lady, and as Bermes says, " You are doing the most important job in the world --- making a baby!" If only it offered good health benefits ...
