I'm Havin' it My Way

I am not sure if it is the warm spring weather, the smell of wild onions wafting through our house after Jake chopped them all with the lawn mower, or the fact that I am 5 months pregnant, but I really want a Whopper. The thought occured to me last night while in bed watching the Apprentice, and very stupidly I mentioned it to Jake.

"Doesn't a Whopper sound really good right now?"
"Yeeesssssssssss. Why did you say that. Now I won't be able to go to sleep until I eat something."

Apparently mentioning something as yummy as a Whopper has the same effect on Jake as mentioning the word "cookies" to Ozzie.

Because it was close to 10-o-clock at night I knew that we weren't going to make any BK runs that instant. That, and the fact that for the life of us we could not think of where the closest Burger King was. This really bothered me. Really, really bothered me. So, like any good computer user I decided to look it up online. The results were shocking. Apparently there are 20 Burger Kings in a 10 mile radius of our house. Who knew! There was even one little logo located almost on top of our house (designated by a star). I knew that was a bunch of BK BS.

So, today that is my mission. To find a Burger King, order a Whopper and then eat a Whopper in my yard scented with wild onions. I know it is very ambitious, and I am sure there are a few of you out there that are worried about me pushing myself too hard while I have this time off. Don't worry, I will not go beyond a 10 mile radius during my search. That would be a little extreme, just for a Whopper.

Can you say Big Mac? The new MacDonald's was built right up the street from our house on Kirk Rd.for our convenience.
