"Happiness makes up in height for what it lacks in length."
-Robert Frost
That is my quote for the day. I heard it in a movie I watched this weekend, that I am sure I am in the minority of liking. I don't really know why I liked it so much, but it just really made sense to me. I guess some people may prefer to have things last longer, but I am satisfied with the spikes of glee. Hmmm .... discuss that amongst yourselves.
I really have nothing of interest to report on, or even anything remotely funny to say. I am not even sure if I have really laughed very hard lately, but I have definitely been in a good mood . I think I really, really like hot weather. Even when it is suffocatingly hot. I don't care. I can sit in our house with the windows open and the fans on, even if it is 80 degrees. That doesn't fly with Jake, he needs air conditioning. I am sure that Ozzie likes air conditioning too, with all of that fluffy fur.
I am still really excited for the Dave Matthews concert, and in honor of it, have been listening to Dave Matthews all week. I kind of feel like a huge dork, and actually writing it makes me realize that I am a huge dork, but I am over it. It makes me a little nervous that I am so excited, because I don't want it to be a let down. I hope it is one of those "heightened happiness moments." We will see ... maybe there will be an adventure to report on.
