Last night I went to see Jason Mraz at the Indiana State Fair. I had never been to the State Fair before, and it pretty much lived up to all of my expectations. However, for some reason, I pictured it taking place on some sort of vast expanse of farmland (don't ask me why), and it was really all situated around a dirt track (a track for dog racing, horse racing, Monster Truck rallies -- if you were wondering).
So, now, I can't get this Jason Mraz song out of my head. It is really annoying actually, especially since I don't know all of the words and just keep repeating the ones I know. I found him to be charming and enjoyed myself. But, I really enjoyed watching a teenage boy dance and sing along to all of his songs, while whipsering sweet nothings into his girlfriend's ear. Ahhhh yeaaaaaah.
I have nothing else really to add except that we had gone through a crazy week or so, and I am glad that most of the craziness is over. One of Jake's friends was in the hospital with a brain virus. I know, I know. A brain virus?! Needless to say, it was very scary and is something that I hope you would never have to go through.
Baba Jillsy is living with us now during the week, and aside from her crazy habit of going outside with the children and locking the door behind her, she has been great. (I am only kidding. Sort of.) It reminds me of what it was like when she was with us for Abe, and I remembered how nice it was to have her around. We are so lucky to have a Baba Jillsy. And, Sam is getting extra spoiled.
That's all from me. I promise to write more often. Promise.
