Four months old has never looked so chubby. Your Baba calls you "Chubsie Ubsie," which I think is pretty cute. But, don't worry, I think chubby babies are the best! You are still very cute, and of course, freakishly strong (like your brother was.) You rolled over two weeks ago, which is quite the feat, considering how much mass you have to flip over. At least you are carrying your weight well.
I am definitely enjoying the fact that your personality is different from Abe's. Not because I didn't love Abe's personality, but because I get to experience another person's development. You are pretty strong-willed, and I think you will have a sort of calm wildness about you. You try to get out of every single chair we put you in, yet you do it so calmly and even with a smile on your face. You just can't understand why you can't crawl, and you already try to take nose dives off of the couch. I am not sure why you are in such a big hurry, but I am sure it is to be with your brother. I love the look of amusement in your eyes as you watch every single move he makes.
You are very happy and really don't cry or fuss much. You enjoy to be held, and always sleep better if someone is holding you. You get excited very easily. I love when I come home from work, and go over to see you because you get so excited and move your arms and make a little screaming sound. Speaking of that screaming sound - it seems as if you are already trying to talk, which will actually work out well for you and Abe, because he won't stop talking. I bet the two of you will just chat and chat and chat all the time.
You are sort of a cat napper, only taking good naps once in awhile. To be honest, this disturbs me. Naps are vital for a mother's well being. You need to start taking good, long naps! Maybe this is just a phase you are going through, but I would appreciate it if you could work on your sleeping. I am not prepared to have a child that will not sleep. The Drlich's are a sleeping family - that's just what we do.
Your Baba has come up to watch you during the day, and you don't know how lucky you are (or maybe you do, because you seem to like her a lot). I know you won't remember this time, but you are getting a lot of love right now. (However, you may have some weird subconscious, memories of AMC old-fashioned movies, from when they were blasted in the background.) In any case, she keeps you well fed, active, and provides plenty of kisses.
I fall in love with you more and more every day. I am enjoying each month with you because I know that they will go by so fast. Pretty soon you will be working on your dance routine with Abe to be considered on the next installment of "So You Think You Can Dance." Time sure does fly.
Love,
Mama
