Picnic of the World

On vacation Abe got an electronic toy that did all sorts of things -- light up, count, practice letters, and play songs. For some reason, his favorite button to push was one that played the "Can Can." I mean, it is a catchy little tune.

When Jake heard it he said,"Oh yeah. This song is "Picnic of the World." Of course no one knew what he was talking about.
"No Jake, this is the Can Can. I have never heard of Picnic of the World."

Well, after hearing this Jake busted out, "Picnic of the World!" in a sing-songy way to the tune of the can can. Now, I know my husband is witty, but I knew he would not be able to come up with something like that on the spot. He then proceded to tell us that he sang it in 4th grade and who was standing next to him at the time.

Anyways, every time Abe pressed that button, Uncle Jerry and I had to sing "Picnic of the World!"

So, for your listening pleasure, I present to you -- Picnic of the World.
