So Damn Lucky

I am going to admit, Thanksgiving was rough. I had a bad attitude and I felt sorry for myself. I know things are bad when I smirk and sneer at every "What I'm Thankful For" post, note, tweet, etc. But the boys had a wonderful time, my parents were lovely, Robby and Karli were great, and even Ozzie was a well behaved dog. There was a point where in my cynical, angry, feeling sorry for myself hive-filled head that I did stop for a second and think, "This is ridiculous. I am so very lucky for everything I have."

So after returning home, hitting rock bottom, and begrudgingly putting up all of the Christmas decorations;  I started to turn that beat around. (I am not going to lie, watching "Pitch Perfect" two times in a row did help me more than it probably should have. Fat Amy is my spirit animal.)

I am going to focus on the positives. I know this sounds stupid and lame and all of that, but I am pretty desperate and I do not want to ruin Christmas for everyone that comes into my path with my negative attitude.

So, as much as I can remember and make time for, I am going to say why I am lucky. Right here on this gosh darn blog. I feel that it is a helpful exercise.

Up first, Juan Freaking Diego. You guys, this video makes me so happy.
