Since I posted such a freak out blog earlier about Sam's sleeping, I thought I would follow up and let you know that last night he slept seven hours straight in his crib.
I did some experimenting with the tilt of his mattress and some wedge placement, that seems to have worked. He also likes his pooty (pacifier) when he sleeps, which is foreign to me especially since Abe had nothing to do with one. I have also found that when Sam gets tired, he does not want to be held or rocked, he just wants to be put down so he can sleep. It is sort of funny. He's like, "Put me down woman! I need my space."
But, I do feel such a sense of relief that my child is sleeping soundly and I will be able to function like a normal human being. It is fascinating to me the differences between two kids, and how even though you have it figured out for one, doesn't mean you have it figured out for another. It just makes me excited (and scared) to see what Sam and Abe have in store for me.
