I am 36 Weeks Pregnant

It doesn't really feel like such an accomplishment, but I have made it to 36 weeks. This means that I am more than 9 months. Because, really, when you are pregnant you are for 10 months. I know, what a bunch of BS.

But, I am still kickin it. I am feeling okay. My back is actually feeling better, and I wonder if it is because my body sort of surrendered and said, "Oh, I guess we are going to be like this for awhile, huh." I think the baby has dropped, but who really knows. I go to the doctor on Thursday to get checked out, so we will see if there is any action.

My nesting is in full force and full insanity. It is sort of weird how the nesting takes over your mind and you do things you would never do before. Like, iron crib bumper ties. Yes, that's right. After I washed the crib bumbers, I ironed them, and the little ties, because the look of wrinkled ties was unsettling to me. I also attemped to throw away our comforter because "I couldn't stand it anymore." Jake luckily stopped me from doing that. He said we can't get rid of it until we get a replacement. WHAT DOES HE KNOW ANYWAY!?

I just have this feeling of being unsettled. I think a lot of it has to do with work, and all of the things I have going on. I am trying very hard to finish things up, but it seems as though work keeps piling in. As Abe would say, "I no like it."

But, it is sort of nice to see the light at the end of the tunnel. One by one the shirts are getting put away that no long cover my large belly, and lately no one has commented on how big it is. I wonder if the initial shock has worn off, or they just feel sorry for me. In any case, i don't really care.

I know I still have to write Abe's 30th month post. It will come soon. Until then -- the 37th week should be a good time.
