I don't want to jinx myself, but I haven't thrown up in over a week. And, everyday I seem to be getting more and more energy. I think, I have made out of the dark zone. I guess I am technically into the second trimester- at 13 weeks and 4 days to be exact.
Things are much more exciting now - I like to play outside with Abe, I am nicer to everyone (especially Jake), and I don't dry heave when I take my Flinstone vitamins.
I know I have yet to post a belly shot, but for some reason I have been putting it off. I definitely have a belly now. I would say it looks similar to that of when I was 20 weeks along with Abe. It is crazy how fast it pops out. Which also puts me in the predicament of what to wear. I am too big for my old pants, but maternity pants look giant on me.
Anyways, Abe is starting to be more aware of a baby coming. When I tell him he says, "I hold the baby?" Or, "I am a good big brother!" I am sure someone told him to say that, but it is still cute. He has also become extra clingy to me, which I must say I secretly love. He gets mad when Jake gives me a hug. (I know, Abe is becoming a little Single White Female. I love it.)
This weekend Jake and I are going to celebrate our 6-year anniversary and go out to dinner (by ourselves) somewhere all fancy-like. I plan to eat as much food as I can possibly shovel into my mouth. When you have elastic waistbands, the sky is the limit. The traditional gift for six years is wood, which is sort of fitting because we got a tree taken down in our backyard. I will have photos later (I know, can you all handle the suspense?)We are so happy to be able to grow grass in a corner of our yard. We may just have a special party dedicated to the patch of grass.
That is all for now. Oh, and how exciting is it that the leaves are changing and it is getting cold? For some reason I am so excited for winter. How's that for a positive attitude?

flinstone vitamins? i thought those were a little ineffective past the age of 8. did flinstone start developing a prenatal model? maybe the flavors are more mature - like merlot or plum...
yay for elastic waistbands & for 6-year anniversaries! have fun :)
Actually, Flinstone vitamins are just the same as other ones, just half the strength. So I take two of the ones "enriched" or something, so they have Iron and Folic Acid. They are still pretty gross, but at least I am not swallowing golf ball sized, poop tasting prenatal vitamins. I don't think you can call what Flinstones makes a "flavor" they are more like gritty colors. I favor the eggplant colored ones.
Happy Anniversary to my sweet young'uns. You have packed a lot in your six years I must say. Congrats!!!!
