Real TV how I have missed thee

I have been doing a lot of fake TV viewing lately. Call me a fraud, but what are my options? The writer’s strike and DVR have severely altered my TV viewing. Most everything I watch is on DVR and/or a program on Bravo, the Food Network, or the Travel channel. Oh, and don’t forget those reruns of “Sex and the City.” But, tonight I am watching the show of all shows, and in my opinion the epitome of real TV, or more eloquently put-- scripted network programming.

Lost is returning tonight after an eight month hiatus. And, after watching last night’s season three finale recap, my brain went into its old Lost-viewing ways – tense and analytical (aka NERD). My pure geekiness is peeking through for all to see now at my workplace. Once I was discovered as a “Lost” fan (no, I do not have posters of Jack in my cubicle) I was instantly invited to a Lost discussion group (no lie) scheduled by Outlook for tomorrow. Oh yeah, there are a lot of dorks at my place of employment. And, I thoroughly love it.

I must admit, though, the thing that initially got me so geeked out was Robby’s party, and subsequent blog posting. Please check this out – it had me laughing out loud – www.robbymullally.blogspot.com .
