Update

What up everyone. By everyone, I mean my grandma (Hi Gaga!) and probably a handful of friends and other internet randos that stumble on this page by searching terms like, "Low hairline Teresa." (For those of you not in the know, that would be Teresa from Real Housewives of New Jersey or RHONJ.)

It's been awhile since I have posted on this blog, but I definitely have been writing. And thinking. And doing. And drinkin. We woke up in the kitchen saying how the hell did this shit happen? (That's a total Beyonce reference. Don't worry, I am not waking up in the kitchen wondering how the hell did this shit happen. Although, that's pretty deep, man.)

Anyways, I've been busy. Which is definitely a good thing. Sometimes I feel like life is going at such a fast pace, I am barely keeping up. But, I think that's good?? Right?

My hope is to start writing on here more, because I think I have a lot to share, if not for any reason but for myself. And, my kids are pretty funny right now. I have a two-minute long video of Sam dancing to the Miami Sound Machine's "Conga." It is epic.

This blog gets tough for me because I want to post something great, but then I realize this blog is totally for me. I am not getting paid to do this, and I get to make all of the rules. And you know, my life is sort of random and crazy and surreal and delightful and hard and scary and fun, and it's really hard to narrow it down into a blog post. And, then I think, "No one gives a shit!" But then I think, "Who cares! No one HAS to read this." I talk to myself way too much.

But, for those worried about my well-being, please do not. I am doing good. My kids are doing good. My spirit guides Elsa from Frozen (Let it Go) and Alanis Morisette (Jagged Little Pill) are helping me, and also my real-life support team which is truly amazing. I don't know if it is my work on my self, but being alone and owning 50 cats doesn't even seem like a bad deal anymore. Okay, just kidding. That's crazy. I'm not quite living the dream yet, but I am not living in a nightmare, so that is a plus.
